Welcome to Blevins Holdings. We’re glad you’re here. This guide covers everything from before your first day through your first month. Work through it at your own pace, but aim to complete the Day One checklist on day one and the Week One priorities by end of week. If anything is unclear or missing, reach out to HR at hr@blevinsholdings.com.

Before day one

Your manager and HR should have sent you the following before you start. If anything is missing, contact HR immediately.
  • Signed offer letter
  • Benefits enrollment information
  • IT setup instructions and equipment info (device shipped or available on day one)
  • First-day logistics: location (or video call link), start time, who to contact
  • Welcome email with links to key systems
If you’re remote, your device should arrive before your start date. If it hasn’t arrived 2 business days before you start, contact hr@blevinsholdings.com.

Day one checklist

1

Account setup

IT will provision your core accounts. You’ll receive an email with SSO login instructions for your company email, Slack, and other core tools within the first hour of your start time.
  • Sign in to your company Google Workspace account
  • Set up MFA on your Google account (required — see Security Policy)
  • Sign in to Slack using SSO
  • Accept any pending tool invites in your inbox
2

Device setup

Follow IT’s device setup guide sent to your personal email. Key steps:
  • Verify MDM enrollment with IT
  • Enable full-disk encryption
  • Install and configure the company password manager
  • Install any role-specific tools from the Tools page
3

Read the core policies

HR will send you a policy acknowledgment link. Before clicking it, read the actual policies:Once read, complete the acknowledgment form. This is required.
4

Meet your team

Your manager will introduce you to your immediate team. Check the Teams page for an overview of the broader organization and who owns what.
5

Get oriented

Review these pages today or in your first few days:

Week one priorities

  • Complete all required policy acknowledgments (HR will send a link)
  • Set up MFA on all company accounts (required for every account)
  • Schedule a 1:1 with your manager
  • Schedule intro calls with key teammates (your manager will advise who)
  • Get access to any remaining tools you need — submit access requests via IT
  • Familiarize yourself with your team’s current projects and priorities
  • Join the relevant Slack channels for your team and role
  • Review the Benefits guide and complete any time-sensitive enrollment actions
Ask your manager for a list of the 3–5 most important things to understand about your team’s work in the first week. Focus there before exploring more broadly.

First 30 days

30-day check-in

At the end of your first month, you’ll have a 30-day check-in with your manager. This is a two-way conversation:
  • How are you feeling about the role so far?
  • Are you getting the support and context you need?
  • What’s going well? What’s still unclear?
  • What are your priorities for the next 30 days?
This is a low-stakes conversation — there are no trick questions. Be honest about what’s working and what isn’t.
